Bought some new wheels, thoughts?

Enkei T6S in silver. 17x8 up front, 17x9 in the rear. Tires arrive on Tuesday, and then I'll have these on my MR2; can't wait. What does OPPO think?

What bolt pattern do you have? I am guessing 5x114.3. I totally would love a set of Enkei, but they seem to not like the 5x100 bolt pattern. All their 17x9s are the wrong offset and they don't make many wheels in that size either!

BTW, totally love the wheels. Excellent choice.

Your guess is correct. I jumped on these because they're perfect fitment without needing spacers or anything.

Thanks. Lots of people were asking me why I didn't go for the black style, but I felt this would go nicely with my car.

What offset is ideal for you? These are 35mm offset on both.

It is a good choice. I personally think that as long as the wheels aren't orange they will look great with a car. They should look great on the MR2!

To answer your question, I need between a 38 to 42mm offset. 35mm poke to much and 45mm is way to close to the strut. I am within a budget of about 1000 bucks for wheels, and that leaves me with Enkei, Mach, or Rota. Rota and Mach are the only ones with a 17x9 in a 42mm offset so I am probably going to go with one of those.

Yeah, I know how it feels to have difficulty finding wheels in the right size. Mine needed to be staggered as well, so that added another level of fun while searching. Theoretically, if you ran a little bit of negative camber, these would be flush.

My friend runs a 17x9 et35 on his FRS, and they are perfect except that he has to run like a bit over -2 degrees of camber up front. Great at the track and autox but it eats his tires away. I think the only wheel I can get from Enkei that is a 35mm offset is the RPF1 and I don't like those, they look hideous!

My T6S are both 35mm offset, truthfully. Wrong bolt pattern though, dang.

They look quite nice, I always kinda prefer gunmetal or black rims. Wish I could find something like this to fit on my car, but finding 5x120 wheels with a 74mm center bore is damn difficult.

Post a shot of them on the car?
